Video Editor (TAYA FAQ Videos)

About the role

D2B, a Melbourne-based video production, photography and social media agency, is expanding by adding a dedicated, Philippines-based Video Editor to work alongside its Australian team. The editor owns the transformation of raw footage into polished, on-brand content, mostly for "TAYA" (They Ask You Answer) style FAQ and educational videos, with room later to take on cinematic brand edits. It is a specialized post-production role, not a generalist or social media management position.

Key responsibilities

• Edit TAYA-style FAQ and educational videos to a consistent, polished standard.
• Support and gradually take ownership of cinematic, brand-style edits for prestige clients such as Bentley.
• Color grade raw Sony S-Log 3 footage to finished, on-brand visuals.
• Master audio independently to a broadcast-ready standard following internal SOPs.
• Manage end-to-end editing workflows in Premiere Pro, using After Effects for motion graphics, titles and finishing touches.
• Select shots and pace the edit, applying basic camera knowledge to choose the strongest footage.
• Align every edit with each client's branding and tone, from trades and construction to luxury brands.
• Communicate directly with the Australian leadership team about turnarounds, feedback and revisions.

Required profile

• Strong, active portfolio or Instagram presence showing style, finesse and visual quality.
• Proven experience editing construction/trades content, brand-focused media or commercial work; general editing experience alone is not enough.
• Experience color grading Sony S-Log 3 footage or strong proficiency with log color space workflows.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
• MacBook required, with the ability to work comfortably on it.
• High audio proficiency, able to master audio independently without supervision.
• Preferrable: videography or camera operation background, familiarity with Photoshop and Lightroom, and alignment with an early-career team dynamic.
