Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

Manulife is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to perform moderately complex accounting and financial analyses, support reporting requirements, and help drive data and process efficiencies. This position offers the chance to deepen technical accounting expertise while collaborating with a global team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare standard and non‑standard journal entries and execute complex general ledger reconciliations.
• Support expense management processes, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis.
• Analyze financial results, identify variances, and provide commentary on key drivers.
• Contribute to the preparation of financial reports, disclosures, and regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with team members to share best practices and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
