Senior Database Support Associate

About the role

Under close guidance or supervision, the Senior Database Support Associate creates and maintains the IQVIA database. The role ensures the accuracy and timeliness of additions and modifications to the IQVIA sales databases, taking into account data trends and their impact on all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of additions and modifications to the IQVIA sales databases, based on input from internal and external sources.
• Identify supplier and database exceptions through quality control review and resolve routine exceptions, following rules and protocols.
• Perform monthly verification of supplier data processing and output, applying corrections as needed.
• Visually monitor data for trends in the monthly client information.
• Upload and download data upon demand.
• Maintain documentation of quality control procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferably with an IT background) and up to two years of experience (preferably in data analysis).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to work night shifts and live in the Taguig area.
• A good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Windows applications such as Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint.
• SQL at beginner to intermediate level.
• Experience with databases and data analysis tools such as MicroStrategy, Tableau and Power BI.
