Senior Associate - Transaction Diligence (Financial Due Diligence)

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Associate in Financial Due Diligence for its Strategy and Transactions team, based at Robinsons Cyber Sigma in Taguig. The role provides analytical insights for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and helps clients navigate the complexities of the transaction process. The position is permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct financial due diligence for M&A transactions across a variety of sectors.
• Analyse financial statements and business trends to identify financial risks and opportunities.
• Prepare comprehensive due diligence reports highlighting key findings and offering value-added insights to clients.
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate financial due diligence findings with other parts of the transaction process.
• Manage and mentor junior staff, fostering a learning environment and career growth.
• Engage directly with clients and deliver exceptional service.
• Support business development, including market research and proposal development.

Required profile

• A professional accounting or finance qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, MBA or equivalent).
• At least 3-5 years of experience in financial due diligence.

Required skills

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and financial modelling skills.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
