Senior Account Manager – International Remittance

About the role

Coins, the leading crypto brand in the Philippines, is expanding its International Remittance team. We are looking for a dynamic Senior Account Manager to acquire, manage, and grow relationships with merchants and partners across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach, and onboard new merchants across various industries to adopt our payment services such as QR payments and e‑wallets.
• Maintain and deepen relationships with existing merchants to increase transaction volume, retention, and satisfaction.
• Negotiate merchant discount rates, commercial terms, and service agreements.
• Collaborate with Product, Technology, and Operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and integration.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for merchant queries, support requests, and escalations.
• Monitor account performance, track transaction volumes, and identify upselling opportunities.
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs within payments and fintech.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in merchant acquisition, key account management, or business development, preferably in fintech, banking, payments, or e‑commerce.
• Proven sales and negotiation abilities with a track record of meeting targets.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience handling regional accounts in North America, Latin America, EMEA, or APAC is a plus.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Web3 ecosystems and blockchain technologies.
• Knowledge of payment gateways and digital wallets.
