Sea Logistics Specialist – UA Shipment Planner

About the role

As a member of the Freight Forwarding team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will execute shipment planning activities across all geographic regions, ensuring strict adherence to planning rules and identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of shipment plans for designated customer destination markets.
• Prepare and validate shipment plans according to customer‑specific rules, optimizing for operational and business requirements.
• Maintain shipment planning parameters and master data to support seamless execution.
• Develop reports and conduct performance analysis to support continuous improvement.
• Provide root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions for any deviations or exceptions to planning rules.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in Sea Logistics; preferably with additional finance, IT or order management experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel (intermediate level).
• Understanding of operational processes, systems and tools.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Persistent problem‑solver with the ability to handle large amounts of data.
• Independent, responsible and analytical mindset.
• Ability to support multi‑time‑zone operations and work weekends or holidays as needed.
