Scaffolder Inspector – Infrastructure Project

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Scaffolder Inspector to support the MCRP-02 infrastructure project in the Philippines. You will ensure that all scaffold structures are erected safely, comply with approved drawings and regulations, and remain fit for use throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect scaffolds before first use and at regular intervals.
• Verify that scaffold erection matches approved drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Check scaffold components for damage, defects, corrosion, or improper installation.
• Confirm correct installation of guardrails, toe boards, access ladders, platforms, and bracing.
• Identify unsafe conditions, issue corrective actions, and stop work when safety is compromised.
• Issue scaffold inspection tags and maintain accurate inspection records.
• Conduct audits of scaffold worksites and monitor modifications, ensuring re‑inspection after any changes.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, local regulations, and ACCIONA safety standards.
• Coordinate with scaffolders, supervisors, safety officers, engineers, and contractors.
• Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and incident investigations.

Required profile

• College level or High School graduate.
• NCII / COSH certification or 16‑hour Scaffold Safety Training.
• Relevant experience in scaffolding inspection (specific years not stated).
• Strong teamwork and leadership capabilities.
