SAP Technical Manager

About the role

GCash is seeking an SAP Technical Manager to lead the strategic direction and operational excellence of its SAP landscape, including S/4HANA, BTP, Fiori and legacy systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the SAP technical stack, ensuring system stability and performance.
• Manage and mentor a cross‑functional team of BASIS administrators, security specialists, ABAP developers and integration architects.
• Govern the development lifecycle by enforcing coding standards and best practices for ABAP and Fiori.
• Oversee SAP BASIS and infrastructure tasks such as system refreshes, kernel upgrades, HANA database management and coordination with hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Define and enforce SAP Security and GRC frameworks to maintain robust user access controls and audit compliance.
• Drive integration strategy using SAP Integration Suite, PI/PO and API Management to connect SAP with non‑SAP applications.
• Lead technical upgrade projects, including S/4HANA releases, patch cycles and adoption of new Fiori applications.
• Manage vendor relationships and service level agreements to ensure quality technical support.
• Direct disaster recovery and high‑availability planning, conducting regular drills and risk assessments.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading SAP technical teams and managing cross‑functional projects.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, BTP, Fiori, BASIS, ABAP and integration tools.
• Experience with SAP Security, GRC, and audit compliance.
• Familiarity with HANA database administration and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
