SAP Lead Developer – S/4HANA Cloud & BTP

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Lead Developer to design, build, and deploy cloud‑native solutions on SAP S/4HANA (both private and public) and the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The role combines hands‑on development with team leadership, ensuring high‑quality delivery and alignment with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and extend applications on SAP S/4HANA Cloud using ABAP RAP, CDS views, and Fiori/UI5.
• Design cloud‑native services on SAP BTP, including CAP, Integration Suite, Workflow Management, and Event Mesh.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Build and manage APIs and micro‑services for SAP and non‑SAP integration.
• Lead a small development team: task planning, delegation, code reviews, and delivery ownership.
• Ensure compliance with SAP best practices, security standards, and performance optimisation.
• Provide operational support, incident management and root‑cause analysis using ITSM tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• 5+ years of SAP development experience, with at least 2 years on S/4HANA Cloud (private/public).
• Proven experience leading a development team and managing delivery timelines.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
