Room Attendant

About the role

The Room Attendant ensures guest rooms and associated service areas are cleaned, stocked, and presented to the highest standards of hospitality. Working closely with the housekeeping team, the role supports guest satisfaction from arrival through departure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily cleaning, turndown service, and replenishment of mini‑bar, amenities, and guest supplies.
• Deliver special requests such as decorations for celebrations and set‑up of additional amenities.
• Create HotSOS service requests for any maintenance issues and follow up to ensure resolution without disturbing guests.
• Handle guest complaints promptly, courteously, and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of back‑of‑house areas, including pantry, corridors, stairwells, and service lifts.
• Report unusual incidents, hazards, missing or damaged items, and security concerns to supervisors.
• Participate in health‑and‑safety activities and adhere to the Kaizen continuous‑improvement program.
• Perform routine tasks such as bed making, bathroom cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, trash removal, and equipment handling.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar housekeeping or room‑service position.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to guest privacy and comfort.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced hotel environment.
• Good communication skills and a professional demeanor.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the HotSOS housekeeping management system.
