About the role
The Director of Chinese Operations will oversee restaurant and Chinese dining services at Makati Shangri‑La, ensuring smooth operations, profitability and an exceptional guest experience.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure smooth restaurant and Chinese operations at all times.
- Assist with monthly forecasting and weekly scheduling.
- Evaluate restaurant profitability and drive revenue growth.
- Optimize performance and maintain high standards of service.
Required profile
- Passion for Food & Beverage.
- Enjoys interacting with people.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in Mandarin (must).
- Experience in a luxury restaurant or 5‑star hotel environment.
- Friendly, helpful, trustworthy leader.
- Creative with an eye for detail.
- Enjoys planning, organising and problem‑solving.
- Willing to work shifts.
