Retail Finance Controller

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Retail Finance Controller to strengthen our financial operations, reporting and controls within a growing retail organization. The role will work closely with the CFO and cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate financial information and support strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing accurate financial reports and statements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
• Support internal controls and help safeguard company assets.
• Collaborate with various departments to provide financial analysis and support.
• Assist the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with financial and operational initiatives.
• Support and guide finance and accounting staff as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
• 5–7 years of experience in accounting, finance, or auditing.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial regulations, and corporate finance.
• High attention to detail, integrity, and leadership ability.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
