AU Tax Analyst – Corporate Tax & Advisory

About the role

As an AU Tax Analyst you will translate complex Australian tax legislation and financial data into accurate tax positions, compliance outcomes and commercially relevant advice. You will deepen expertise across corporate tax, tax‑effect accounting, technical research, transfer pricing and emerging advisory areas.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare corporate income tax returns and supporting compliance documentation.
• Apply knowledge of assessable income, deductible expenses, capital allowances, FBT, CGT, tax losses, transfer pricing and withholding tax.
• Research complex tax matters and produce technical advice, memoranda or position papers.
• Prepare tax‑effect accounting workpapers and supporting schedules.
• Develop understanding of tax consolidation, employee incentive arrangements and foreign income considerations.
• Deliver internal tax training and knowledge‑sharing sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Finance or related field with a major in Accounting.
• At least 2 years hands‑on Australian tax experience, strong exposure to corporate tax compliance.
• Experience preparing and reviewing Australian tax returns, financial statements and supporting workpapers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
