Resident Engineer – Upper Works (Project P)

About the role

We are seeking a Resident Engineer to lead the Upper Works of Project P, a dam and hydropower development. The role involves overseeing construction of spillways, intake structures, gates, and the powerhouse superstructure while ensuring quality, safety, and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all Upper Works construction activities on site.
• Manage contractors, monitor progress, and report on construction status.
• Ensure compliance with FIDIC contracts and donor‑funded project requirements.
• Conduct quality assurance, inspection, and testing of concrete and hydraulic structures.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required).
• Post‑graduate qualification in Hydraulics, Structural Engineering, or Water Resources (desirable).
• 10–15 years of professional civil engineering experience, including 7–10 years on dam and hydropower projects.
• Proven experience in Upper Works construction and resident engineering roles.
