About the role
AutoZone is looking for a professional delivery driver to transport merchandise from the hub to local commercial customers. The role involves operating an assigned vehicle, ensuring timely deliveries, handling customer inquiries, and completing sales documentation to guarantee satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver goods on assigned local routes, meeting scheduled collection and delivery times.
- Operate the company‑provided vehicle safely and in accordance with company policies.
- Assist customers at the sales counter, answering questions about product availability, specifications, and operation, both in person and by phone.
- Complete the vehicle inspection checklist and maintain an accurate logbook.
- Report any vehicle incidents to the Commercial Manager.
- Process cash payments and credit‑card transactions accurately to finalize sales.
Required profile
- High school diploma completed.
- One to two years of driving experience, preferably with standard delivery vehicles.
- Previous experience as a driver of any vehicle type.
- Valid driver’s license.
- At least 21 years of age.
