Repair Support Engineer

About the role

The Repair Support Engineer joins Toyota Motor Philippines' Technical Service Department to provide expert technical assistance to the dealer network for hard‑to‑diagnose vehicle cases. This role focuses on data analysis, technical reporting, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide repair support to dealers for complex vehicle diagnosis cases.
• Prepare Technical Reports for assisted cases and Field Evaluation Reports for safety‑related incidents.
• Coordinate with Toyota internal affiliates on customer handling and marketing activities.
• Collaborate with regional affiliates and the dealer network to facilitate repair support initiatives.
• Drive serviceability Kaizen requests to regional affiliates to address market concerns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of automotive repair and diagnosis.
• Valid Philippines driver’s license.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Technical report writing and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Forms, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with SAP (advantageous).
• Experience with vehicle diagnostic software (advantageous).
