Remote Healthcare Recruitment Consultant

About the role

Mediix Recruitment is seeking a motivated Recruitment Consultant to join its allied health desk. This remote, full‑time position supports the recruitment of physiotherapists, speech pathologists, podiatrists and occupational therapists across Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Screen candidates over the phone and assess suitability for open roles.
• Conduct candidate outreach and maintain communication throughout the hiring process.
• Prepare and send candidate profiles to client organisations.
• Assist with the management of permanent and locum placements.
• Coordinate interview scheduling, follow‑ups and feedback.
• Format CVs and manage data within the CRM/database.
• Provide general recruitment and administrative support to the Principal Consultant.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Confident phone presence with candidates and clients.
• Outgoing, personable and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
• Receptive to feedback and guidance.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• Prior recruitment experience with clients in Australia, USA, Canada or England.
