Regulatory Affairs Executive

About the role

The Regulatory Affairs Executive will provide strategic legal and regulatory support to ensure full compliance with the Konektadong Pinoy Act (RA 12234) and other evolving telecommunications laws. This senior position focuses on interpreting regulatory frameworks, supporting government engagement, and maintaining continuity of mission‑critical regulatory functions for wireless and broadband operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and interpret the Konektadong Pinoy Act, its IRR, and related telecom/ICT regulations.
• Provide timely legal opinions on regulatory requirements affecting wireless, broadband, and emerging technologies.
• Draft and review submissions, reports, and filings to the NTC, DICT, and other agencies.
• Coordinate participation in regulatory consultations, public hearings, and working groups.
• Support advocacy initiatives for PLDT and SMART on policy matters.
• Assist in managing spectrum allocations, assignments, renewals, and related legal issues.
• Identify regulatory risks from new legislation or issuances and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Mentor junior lawyers and ensure knowledge transfer from senior regulatory personnel.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor degree.
• Successful passage of the Philippine Bar Examination and active membership in the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
• Completion of Mandatory Continuing Legal Education requirements.
• Extensive experience handling regulatory compliance in a highly regulated industry, preferably telecommunications.
• Additional coursework in Administrative Law, Regulatory Compliance, or Public Policy is an advantage.
