Registered Nurse Consultant – Clinical Case Management

About the role

MercerWell is looking for a Registered Nurse Consultant to join its team in Manila, Philippines. This is a hybrid role with at least three days a week spent in the office. The consultant guides benefit administrators on ways to improve care coordination and case management, oversees action plans and recognises where performance meets or exceeds best practice.

Key responsibilities

• Build effective carrier and vendor relationships with the assigned book of business to represent Mercer and serve clients.
• Communicate Mercer's view on clinical management program models and strategies for managing potential and actual high-cost claimants.
• Bring a curiosity and continuous quality improvement mindset to evolve the clinical strategy and delivery of the assigned book of business.
• Interpret claims and other data reports to manage the assigned book of business.
• Lead case discussions with the benefit administrators' clinical teams, identifying strengths and opportunities and suggesting improvements to member care.
• Synthesise data and develop reports and presentations, presenting results clearly so clients can track progress over time.

Required profile

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, with an active, unrestricted U.S. RN or Philippine RN license.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in case management, clinical consulting or clinical carrier-related work such as quality assurance, clinical auditing, clinical leadership or stop loss.
• Proven project management, verbal and written skills and strong clinical acumen.
• Ability to analyse clinical data and metrics.
• Preferred: Master's degree in a related field, case manager certification, and prior experience in clinical program assessments or stop loss cases.
