Clinical Pharmacist – US Healthcare & Specialty Pharmacy

About the role

Marsh is looking for a licensed pharmacist to join its MercerWell team in Manila. This is a hybrid role with at least three days a week in the office. As a Pharmacy Consultant, you act as the subject matter expert for internal and external clinical partners, helping them manage complex clinical cases involving high-cost claimants and educating them on specialty medication management.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the specialty pharmacy resource for assigned clinical teams, helping identify and manage potential and actual high-cost claimants
• Interpret pharmacy data reports from benefit administrators to select cases for review
• Build carrier and vendor relationships with the assigned book of business
• Take part in Pharmacy Practice meetings and communicate Mercer's position on clinical and pharmacy management strategies
• Lead case discussions with account executives and clinical teams to suggest ways to improve care and control costs
• Develop reports and presentations and present results clearly to clients

Required profile

• Active, unencumbered PRC-issued pharmacy license
• At least 5+ years of relevant clinical pharmacy experience
• Prior experience with US healthcare systems, clinical program audits, specialty medications or high-cost claimants
• Graduate-level specialty pharmacy education or a related field such as clinical pharmacy or public health (a plus)

Required skills

• Navigate MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) to produce client deliverables
• Evaluate specialty medication regimens and make evidence-based recommendations
• Organizational skills, prioritization and independent work
• Strong communication and business writing skills
