Registered Nurse Clinical Consultant – Medical Chart Preparation

About the role

The Offshore Clinical Consultant supports U.S.-based Clinical Consultants by preparing medical charts without coding or clinical decision‑making. The role focuses on organizing, abstracting, and summarising medical records to enable efficient, high‑quality clinical review.

Key responsibilities

• Review and organise U.S. medical records such as progress notes, labs, imaging, and consult notes.
• Abstract clinically relevant information following established chart‑preparation protocols.
• Prepare structured, standardised summaries for U.S. Clinical Consultants.
• Flag missing, conflicting, or incomplete documentation without providing clinical interpretation.
• Meet defined turnaround times and productivity expectations.
• Participate in QA review, remediation, and calibration processes to maintain quality standards.

Required profile

• Active Philippine RN license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience with exposure to chart preparation or clinical abstraction.
• Basic pharmacology knowledge.
• Strong English reading and writing proficiency.
• Ability to understand and navigate U.S. clinical documentation formats.
