Record to Report (R2R) Accountant (Spanish-Speaking Preferred)

About the role

We are seeking a highly driven Record to Report (R2R) Accountant with strong finance expertise and a preference for Spanish‑speaking professionals. The role involves managing general accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting business decisions in a multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all accounting activities comply with company policies, local regulations, and accounting standards.
• Participate in internal and external audits, providing complete and accurate documentation.
• Provide technical expertise in R2R processes, resolve complex queries, and handle escalations.
• Review financial reports, perform reconciliations, and conduct variance analysis.
• Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for audits.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Supply tax‑related information for annual tax computation and estimates.
• Support Fixed Assets processes, including asset creation, settlement rules, tagging coordination, capitalization policy, and monthly closing.
• Participate in master data creation projects and adhere to the Financial Target Operating Model.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CPA/ACCA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a Shared Services Center.
• Strong knowledge of R2R accounting processes and proper accounting treatments.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal); Spanish fluency highly preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including US month‑end support (9 PM – 6 AM) and regular 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM schedule.
