Receiving Assistant

About the role

The Receiving Assistant supports the smooth flow of goods into Fairmont Makati, ensuring that all deliveries meet the hotel’s quality, specification, and pricing standards. This role works closely with the purchasing department and contributes to accurate inventory management for a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect incoming goods for quality, quantity, and compliance with product specifications.
• Coordinate daily receiving operations and track pending or partial deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of received items and update inventory systems.
• Prepare monthly receiving reports and ensure adherence to corporate receiving policies.
• Collaborate with the purchasing team to resolve discrepancies and streamline supply chain processes.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Accounting or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• At least one year of experience in receiving, delivery, or inventory management within a luxury hotel or similar hospitality setting.
• Strong interpersonal, problem‑solving, communication, and organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
