Real Estate Lead Generation & Leasing Assistant (Freelance, Remote)

About the role

A business owner managing a real estate operation and an established plumbing company in South Florida needs a proactive, independent freelancer to support day-to-day operations. The main goal is to generate rental leads and help fill 20 vacant apartment units within 30 days, while also handling administrative work. The position is remote, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm Central Time, paid $7 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Create and publish rental listings on platforms such as Zillow, Craigslist and Facebook, and suggest ways to increase listing visibility
• Follow up on rental inquiries and schedule property viewings with the property manager
• Support lease renewal outreach and keep records of pending renewals
• Manage the executive's Gmail inbox and calendar, and identify administrative bottlenecks
• Run LinkedIn outreach to property managers and contact past customers of the plumbing business
• Upload videos and images to social media and professional platforms
• Handle outbound collection calls and track follow-ups
• Use AI tools to streamline administrative tasks

Required profile

• Proven experience in lead generation, prospect outreach or a related role
• Experience creating and managing online listings, digital ads or social media content
• Experience making outbound calls, following up with prospects and scheduling appointments
• Strong administrative and organizational skills, able to work independently
• Comfortable with AI tools such as Claude
• Own computer (Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 or better), 40+ Mbps internet, headset with noise cancellation, webcam, backup computer and quiet workspace
