Quality Assurance Officer

About the role

The Quality Assurance Officer will ensure that all incoming and outgoing products meet statutory, regulatory and company standards. This role supports health, safety and food‑safety compliance within a cold‑storage logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular quality inspections of incoming and outgoing goods, including sensory evaluations and label verification.
• Monitor and record temperature conditions in cold‑storage units, reporting any deviations.
• Maintain compliance with local food‑safety regulations such as HACCP and complete all required quality control documentation.
• Perform internal audits, suggest corrective actions and assist in process‑improvement initiatives.
• Train warehouse staff on quality procedures, product handling and food‑safety standards.
• Ensure proper product storage, rotation, stacking and cleanliness of storage areas.
• Investigate customer complaints related to product quality and coordinate timely resolutions.
• Carry out daily facility, hygiene and pest‑control audits, including foot‑bath preparation and chemical dilution.

Required profile

• Graduate of a 4‑year program in Food Technology, Nutrition, Agriculture or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; prior QA or warehouse experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organized and eager to learn food‑safety and QA procedures.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
