Purchasing Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Purchasing Supervisor to manage the end‑to‑end procurement process, from sourcing suppliers to ensuring timely delivery of goods. The successful candidate will guarantee high‑quality products at competitive prices while maintaining accurate records and strong cross‑department collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships to satisfy internal and external merchandise needs.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms to secure value, quality, and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain comprehensive procurement documentation, including price lists, purchase orders, supplier contracts, and related records.
• Review and analyse quotations and product details to make data‑driven purchasing decisions.
• Monitor orders to ensure on‑time delivery and adherence to requested specifications and quantities.
• Assess supplier performance regularly based on cost, quality, reliability, and delivery timelines.
• Ensure all procurement activities align with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare regular reports and updates on procurement activities for management review.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply‑chain management.
• Strong organisational and administrative capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier‑relationship management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
