Purchasing Supervisor

About the role

The Purchasing Supervisor/Assistant Manager will manage the full procurement cycle, from sourcing suppliers to ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality products. This role demands strong organization, attention to detail, and collaboration with multiple internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, research, and build relationships with suppliers to meet internal and external merchandise requirements.
• Negotiate competitive pricing while ensuring products meet quality and specification standards.
• Maintain procurement documentation, including price lists, purchase orders, supplier contracts, and related files.
• Review, compare, and analyze quotations and product specifications to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Monitor order deliveries to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
• Assess supplier performance on quality, cost, reliability, and delivery adherence.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations, and prepare regular reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field.
• Prior experience in procurement, supply chain management, or purchasing.
• Strong organizational and administrative abilities with a detail‑oriented, structured approach.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proven negotiation skills and capacity to build positive supplier relationships.
• Comfort working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
