Property Services and Cleaning Associate

About the role

Smart Suites manages short-term vacation rentals in Queensland and is expanding its offshore operations team in the Philippines. As a Property Services and Cleaning Associate, you keep properties safe, functional, clean and guest-ready by coordinating maintenance and repair, supporting recurring exterior and common-area upkeep, and assisting with selected cleaning operations. The role is fully remote, paid AUD 1,500 to 1,700 per month, with flexible hours between 5:00 AM and 10:00 PM PH time.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee repair and maintenance jobs, including guest-caused damage and general wear and tear
• Coordinate with vendors, handymen, cleaners, suppliers and third-party property managers to complete work on time
• Create and manage purchase orders for repairs, replacements and cleaning services
• Schedule recurring services such as lawn mowing, bin collection and common area cleaning
• Maintain job records, timelines and completion statuses, and track progress and reporting
• Help organise cleaning inspections, confirm schedules, monitor service quality and support escalations
• Carry out virtual inspections to verify work quality and standards
• Work with logistics, operations, vendors and service providers to keep properties running smoothly

Required profile

• Proven experience in property coordination, maintenance scheduling, cleaning operations or similar operational support roles
• Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple tasks, follow-ups and deadlines
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Comfortable working with vendors, cleaners, contractors and internal teams
• Attention to detail and commitment to timely, accurate work
• Tech-savvy, dependable and proactive in identifying and resolving issues

Required skills

• Use of digital tools and task-tracking systems such as Zoho, Trello or Monday.com
• Ability to work with urgency while maintaining quality and accuracy
