Air Conditioning Technician

About the role

The Four Points by Sheraton Boracay (Malay, Aklan, Philippines) is hiring a full-time Aircon Technician. The role covers responding to guest repair requests, performing preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, and carrying out basic repairs across a range of systems.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve guest repair requests and communicate with guests about maintenance issues
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication
• Test, troubleshoot and repair equipment, plumbing (plunge toilets, unclog drains), electrical components, lamps, switches and outlets, and guestroom items
• Replace A/C filters, paint and prepare surfaces, and repair minor drywall and wood trim
• Program TVs and handle general housekeeping and engineering inventory duties
• Use the Lockout/Tagout system before maintenance work and follow safety and security policies
• Perform landscaping and sprinkler repairs, and use basic computer skills such as entering air handler schedules
• Welcome guests, respect confidentiality and maintain professional appearance

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• Some experience in general maintenance, surface preparation and painting
• Hotel engineering or maintenance experience is a plus
• No supervisory experience required
• Driver's license
