Project Site Nurse

About the role

The Project Site Nurse is responsible for safeguarding the health and safety of all personnel on a construction or industrial project site. This role provides immediate medical care, supports emergency preparedness, and ensures compliance with occupational health regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑aid and medical treatment for injuries or illnesses on‑site.
• Conduct health screenings and monitor workers’ well‑being.
• Assist in developing and executing emergency response plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records and manage inventory of medical supplies.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations specific to construction or industrial environments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (RN) or equivalent qualification.
• Registered Nurse license valid in the jurisdiction of employment.
• Additional certifications in first aid, CPR, or occupational health preferred.
• Experience in emergency nursing, occupational health, or field healthcare, especially within industrial or construction settings.

Required skills

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations for construction/industrial sites.
• Ability to remain calm and act swiftly in emergency situations.
• Excellent communication with workers, site managers, and external healthcare providers.
