Project Officer – Greener Cebu Initiative

About the role

The Project Officer will support the implementation of community‑based social development projects that aim to create a greener Cebu. Working under the supervision of the Project Lead, the officer will help translate project plans into concrete actions that benefit local communities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities.
• Gather and analyse data to track project progress and impact.
• Prepare regular reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Liaise with community partners, local authorities, and beneficiaries to ensure smooth execution.
• Support budgeting and resource allocation under guidance.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Community Development, Environmental Studies, Social Sciences or related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in community‑based projects or environmental initiatives.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
