Project Control Specialist - Bids and Proposals

About the role

Join AECOM as a Project Control Specialist focused on bids and proposals. You will support the end‑to‑end bid process, from strategy and readiness through final package production, ensuring compliance and competitiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with Go/No‑Go decisions, readiness assessments and maintain Salesforce data for regional pursuits.
• Develop pre‑RFP plans, write and edit executive summaries, cover letters and other proposal content.
• Analyze tender documents, manage clarifications, coordinate review cycles and guarantee final compliance.
• Calculate labor costs, assess technical requirements and collaborate with subcontractors for accurate data.
• Conduct client and industry research to inform positioning and strategy.
• Foster internal collaboration, support team formation and attend pre‑bid meetings to build relationships.
• Identify risks, lead process‑improvement initiatives and support senior staff on complex pursuits.
• Oversee document layout and production using Word and InDesign, ensuring brand consistency.

Required profile

• Open to a hybrid work model (3 days onsite) and night‑shift schedule.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred, but equivalent experience accepted.
• 5+ years of experience in proposal/tender processes, preferably within a professional services firm.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to propose error‑prevention measures.
