Project Control & Scheduler – Dam/Hydro Projects

About the role

Surbanajurong is seeking an experienced Project Control and Scheduler to lead scheduling and control activities for dam and hydro‑related projects (Wawa). The role involves creating realistic construction schedules, monitoring progress, and supporting claims and contract administration.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain baseline, updated and look‑ahead schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Ensure schedules reflect realistic resource planning, construction sequencing and HSE‑critical activities.
• Analyse schedule variances, identify potential delays and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and present daily, weekly and monthly progress reports, including S‑curves, earned‑value metrics and critical‑path analyses.
• Coordinate with project engineers, contractors and other stakeholders to align timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Master’s degree in Project Management or Engineering (preferred).
• Primavera P6 certification or equivalent scheduling‑tool proficiency.
• Minimum 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in dam or hydro scheduling and controls.
• Experience supporting claims management and contract administration through scheduling data.
