Production Operator – Photonics Manufacturing

About the role

Excelitas Technologies is seeking a Production Operator to join its Manila facility, a hub for photodiode, sensor and LiDAR component manufacturing. The role supports the Team Leader in executing production schedules and maintaining high‑quality output for a range of photonic and microwave systems.

Key responsibilities

• Observe and enforce all safety protocols throughout the shift.
• Provide labor for assembly and testing of RF5 Leak Detectors, LC6 Conveyor Systems, photocells and smart sensors for LH10MK3 systems.
• Handle processing of spare parts and kits for APAC microwave system customers.
• Ensure product volume, quality and reliability targets are consistently met.
• Monitor production KPIs and promptly report any deviations to supervisors and engineers.
• Participate in cross‑training across different process stations to increase operational flexibility.

Required profile

• Senior High School graduate, preferably STEM track; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions and procedures.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Effective communication with colleagues, supervisors and engineers.
• Positive attitude, keen observation skills and willingness to work overtime when needed.
