Principal Specialist Procurement

About the role

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Principal Specialist Procurement to lead procurement activities for its aerospace and defense operations in the Philippines. The role focuses on managing the full procurement lifecycle, from request for proposals to supplier delivery, ensuring compliance and cost‑effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Execute procurement processes, standards and operational plans, including RFP creation, negotiation preparation and cost analysis.
• Respond to client inquiries regarding order status, changes or cancellations to maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Purchase goods, materials, supplies and services, preparing purchase orders, approving payments and negotiating prices.
• Compile price proposals, financial reports and other data to support reasonable pricing decisions.
• Prepare bid packages and RFPs for new accounts and monitor contract performance for compliance.
• Coordinate with suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries, resolving shortages or late shipments.

Required profile

• University degree with at least 5 years of relevant procurement experience, or an advanced degree with 3 years, or 9 years of experience without a degree.
• Understanding of Lean principles and contractual terms and conditions.
• APICS or ISM certification is a plus.
• Experience with SAP for MRP is a plus.
