About the role
JTI is looking for a Primary Mechanic to join its Malvar, Batangas facility. You will be responsible for keeping production equipment running smoothly through routine, corrective, and preventive maintenance.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine, corrective, and preventive maintenance to ensure reliable equipment operation.
- Comply with safety, contamination‑prevention, and material‑handling standards.
- Support production by operating assigned equipment and meeting efficiency and quality targets.
- Train team members, ensure effective shift handovers, and collaborate on process improvements.
- Document maintenance activities and key data in SAP and related systems.
Required profile
- Preferably a graduate of a Vocational or Technical Course.
- Strong skills in preventive maintenance (PM).
- Minimum 2‑3 years of experience as a mechanic in any industry.
- Flexible to work shifting or rotating schedules.
