PM Technician (Mold/Plating)

About the role

We are looking for a PM Technician specialized in mold and plating processes to lead preventive maintenance activities for our semiconductor manufacturing equipment. The role ensures equipment reliability, supports new equipment installations, and drives continuous improvement in equipment performance.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve 100 % preventive maintenance (PM) response for assigned area and equipment.
• Document all PM activities and maintain the Equipment 201 file.
• Serve as the focal point for new equipment setup, major equipment problem resolution, and equipment restoration.
• Assist equipment engineers on projects aimed at improving performance, extending part life, and managing spares.
• Develop and update preventive maintenance schedules, procedures, checklists, buy‑offs, and specifications.
• Support analysis and resolution of customer issues related to equipment.
• Mentor line‑maintenance technicians and contribute to their training.
• Perform additional tasks as required to meet manufacturing needs.

Required profile

• 2‑year technology course graduate.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Maintenance Technician in a semiconductor environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Required skills

• Hydraulics, servomotors, pumps, sensors, motor controls, electro‑pneumatics.
• Mechanical, electronics, and PLC knowledge.
• Proficient use of hand tools, measuring and calibration instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/electronic diagrams and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with preventive maintenance systems.
