Physician Reviewer (CDI) – Full-time

About the role

The CDI Physician Reviewer ensures that clinical documentation accurately reflects patient severity and risk of mortality. Working closely with physicians, nurses, case managers, and coding staff, you will drive documentation quality across inpatient records.

Key responsibilities

• Improve overall quality and completeness of clinical documentation.
• Develop or recommend enhancements to documentation tools and provider engagement processes.
• Perform ongoing CDI final review and DRG reconciliation, reporting mismatches for secondary review.
• Initiate concurrent documentation reviews of selected inpatient records to clarify conditions, diagnoses, and procedures when documentation is inadequate or conflicting.

Required profile

• Graduate of a medical school holding an M.D. degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical or inpatient experience in an acute‑care setting.
• Experience in Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) is preferred.
