People and Culture Manager

About the role

The Lind Hotels is opening a new luxury resort in Coron, Palawan and seeks a People and Culture Manager to lead all HR functions during the pre‑opening phase and beyond. This senior HR role will shape the resort’s people strategy, culture, and operational processes.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily pre‑opening People & Culture operations, managing full‑cycle talent acquisition, onboarding, compensation, benefits, administration, and labor relations.
• Design and execute mass recruitment strategies to meet the resort’s manning guides across all departments.
• Partner with executive leadership to create HR policies, performance management systems, and departmental budgets aligned with brand standards.
• Drive employee engagement, wellness programs, and culture initiatives to foster a high‑performing, 5‑star service environment.
• Handle progressive discipline, employee grievances, and ensure compliance with Philippine Labor Laws and DOLE regulations.
• Supervise payroll audits, statutory benefit filings, compensation administration, and confidential personnel record management.
• Lead onboarding and development programs to ensure all team members meet luxury service standards.
• Act as deputy for the Group Director of People and Culture, leading the department in their absence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field.
• 5–10 years of progressive HR management experience in a 5‑star hotel or premium resort.
• Demonstrated expertise across recruitment, compensation & benefits, labor relations, HR administration, and employee engagement.
• Career stability with at least 2–3 years continuous service per employer.
• Willingness to relocate and be based on‑site in Coron for the pre‑opening and ongoing operations.
