Part‑time Sociology Teacher – Ternate

About the role

Ruangguru’s Akademia division is looking for a part‑time teacher to deliver English lessons to students in Ternate. You will join a collaborative community of educators, supporting learners across multiple grade levels while contributing to the growth of our English Academy.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver live English classes to students of various ages and educational levels.
• Provide coaching sessions, act as a buddy and role model for fellow Master Teachers, and share best teaching practices.
• Collaborate with Student Advisors to consult with students and parents, recommending suitable learning pathways and ensuring ongoing engagement.
• Run Homework Clinics to help students overcome academic challenges and offer targeted solutions.
• Participate in trial classes, share insights with regional teams, and meet the minimum required teaching sessions.
• Maintain strong relationships with branch staff and stakeholders to ensure smooth class operations.
• Develop learning materials and assignments aligned with the curriculum to enhance student outcomes.

Required profile

• Completed a Bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to the subject taught.
• Experience teaching young learners is a plus.
• Proactive, willing to try new teaching approaches, and comfortable working in a part‑time capacity.
