Packaging Specialist

About the role

The Packaging Specialist will lead the creation and optimisation of packaging solutions for our food products. Working closely with production, R&D and external partners, you will ensure that packaging designs are cost‑effective, compliant and support product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop new packaging processes and prototypes that meet functional and regulatory requirements.
• Improve and simplify existing product processes, recommending low‑cost materials to boost yield, efficiency and reduce expenses.
• Assess and secure resources needed for process, equipment and packaging implementation, coordinating with suppliers and technical partners.
• Provide technical assistance during troubleshooting, equipment commissioning, fabrication of new tools, and handling product complaints.
• Establish storage, handling and shelf‑life guidelines for packaged products.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in food manufacturing processes and packaging development.
• Willingness to work on‑site at the Pasig City office.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of packaging material selection and cost optimisation.
• Experience with prototype development and process improvement.
• Ability to collaborate with suppliers, technical partners and cross‑functional teams.
