Packaging Designer – Retail & DTC (Remote)

About the role

GrowthAssistant is seeking a highly creative Packaging Designer to shape retail and direct‑to‑consumer (DTC) packaging experiences. You will translate concepts into production‑ready files, ensuring the brand shines on store shelves and in unboxing moments.

Key responsibilities

• Create innovative packaging designs for retail and DTC product lines that reflect brand identity and market trends.
• Design retail merchandising assets such as sidecaps, endcaps, shelf displays, inserts, and promotional materials.
• Prepare final, print‑ready files, manage dielines, bleed, trim marks, and color specifications (CMYK & Pantone).
• Collaborate with vendors, printers, and internal Product, Marketing, and Creative teams to ensure flawless execution.
• Conduct competitive and trend research to bring best‑in‑class ideas to the design process.
• Track multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Required profile

• Proven professional experience designing retail and/or DTC packaging with a strong portfolio.
• Deep understanding of packaging production, dielines, and print specifications.
• Ability to work independently, manage high‑volume workflows, and identify creative opportunities.
