Senior Designer / Design Lead (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Designer / Design Lead to steer our creative team remotely. You will shape the visual direction of our basketball and sportswear brand, driving AI‑enhanced workflows across marketing, e‑commerce and product design.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overarching creative direction and act as a quality gatekeeper for design output.
• Lead AI implementation across marketing, e‑commerce and design processes, using tools such as Claude, Gemini and ChatGPT.
• Mentor and develop designers through regular 1‑on‑1s, training and a collaborative culture.
• Own brief creation in Adobe and our 3‑D DYO configurators, ensuring clear requirements and success metrics.
• Manage the design pipeline, assign tasks based on capacity and strengths, and maintain project timelines.
• Facilitate weekly design meetings and serve as the primary liaison between design and other internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven senior design experience with a portfolio that shows creative excellence and strategic thinking.
• Leadership mindset with a track record of growing and empowering design teams.
• Process‑driven approach to complex workflow organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, able to explain the “why” behind design decisions.
• Degree in graphic design, visual communications, fashion design or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of professional design work, including at least 2 years in sports or fashion.
