Operations & Maintenance Manager – Renewable Energy

About the role

The Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manager will lead day‑to‑day O&M activities for assigned solar power projects, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient plant performance. Reporting to Head Office, the role provides both managerial and technical oversight across plant equipment, monitoring platforms and maintenance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily O&M operations for solar power plants, overseeing panels, inverters, transformers, substations and protection systems.
• Monitor plant performance using SCADA, FusionSolar and related platforms, and validate preventive and corrective maintenance work.
• Plan, supervise and verify inspections, testing, troubleshooting, repairs and post‑maintenance performance checks.
• Analyse energy yield, availability and equipment trends, recommending technical improvements.
• Manage incident response, root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action tracking for faults, outages or equipment failures.
• Maintain complete documentation of maintenance activities, performance data, incident reports and corrective actions for audit and management review.
• Prepare and submit operational, maintenance and compliance reports to Head Office, NGCP, LGUs and other relevant authorities.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing O&M functions for renewable energy or solar power projects.
• Strong technical oversight ability for plant equipment and monitoring systems.
• Experience coordinating with project management, engineering teams, contractors, service providers and regulatory agencies.
• Ability to produce accurate reports and maintain thorough documentation.
