Operations Agent

About the role

The Operations Agent supports the Service Centre by ensuring that all administrative and material handling processes run smoothly. You will be the key point of contact for inbound and outbound shipments, guaranteeing compliance with security and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform administrative tasks required for the Service Centre to maintain effective operational practices.
• Process inbound material on arrival, make it available to couriers, and secure any material not destined for delivery according to security policies.
• Handle outbound material following the latest procedures and documentation requirements.
• Capture and transmit shipment, piece, or handling‑unit information to the network in line with standard procedures.
• Monitor equipment performance, take corrective actions, and proactively address any deviations from operating standards.
• Maintain a clean and orderly process area, ready for the next cycle.

Required profile

• 1–3+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or import/export operations.
• Strong analytical, planning, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and the local language.
• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and work effectively in a team.
• Valid driver’s license; forklift licence is a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of customs clearance processes and documentation.
• Familiarity with IATA regulations, Dangerous Goods (DGR) handling, and airport security protocols.
