Onsite Healthcare Appointment Setter & Virtual Assistant

About the role

Snapscale is seeking an experienced Healthcare Virtual Assistant to serve as an onsite US Clinic Coordinator. The role focuses on delivering a smooth patient journey by handling appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and overall clinic coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Verify patient benefits and insurance coverage.
• Reactivate past patients and maintain engagement.
• Answer inbound calls, assist with inquiries, and follow up on appointment confirmations.
• Make outbound calls to leads and potential patients.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments efficiently.
• Process prescription refills following clinic policies.
• Manage electronic medical records (EMR) and audit lab results.
• Monitor and oversee the clinic’s virtual kiosks.

Required profile

• Proven experience in appointment setting and patient follow‑up.
• Background working with US‑based clinics or healthcare environments.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and self‑motivated.
• Willingness to work onsite.

Required skills

• EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems.
• Insurance verification.
• Medical billing and coding (preferred).
