National Supply Chain Officer – Warehouse Management

About the role

The International Organization for Migration is seeking a National Supply Chain Officer to lead warehouse operations and supervise procurement activities at its Legazpi sub‑office. Reporting to the Head of Resources Management Unit and receiving technical guidance from the Manila Supply Chain Officer, the incumbent will ensure that supply chain processes are efficient, transparent, and aligned with IOM policies.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor procurement activities, ensuring compliance with IOM Procurement Manual IN/168 Rev3 and IN/284.
• Manage emergency response supply chain functions, including planning, procurement, transport, distribution, fleet, assets, and facilities.
• Analyze procurement requests, evaluate vendors on quality, price, and delivery, and maintain vendor accreditation records.
• Oversee all warehouse operations in Legazpi – receipt, storage, dispatch, and inventory control.
• Train and supervise procurement and logistics assistants, ensuring adherence to procedures and timely reporting.
• Provide guidance and simple analysis to staff, acting as a point of referral for queries.

Required profile

• Qualified and eligible candidates; internal candidates are considered first‑tier.
• Experience in procurement, warehouse management, and logistics coordination.
• Ability to work under the supervision of senior supply chain staff and collaborate with the Country Office.
