National Supply Chain Officer – Legaspi City

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a National Supply Chain Officer to lead warehouse operations and supply‑chain activities at its Legaspi sub‑office. Reporting to the Head of the Resources Management Unit and receiving technical guidance from the Supply Chain Officer in Manila, the incumbent will ensure efficient implementation of IOM procurement and logistics policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day supply‑chain processes, with a primary focus on warehouse management and inventory control.
• Directly supervise warehouse staff, providing training, performance feedback, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinate with the Programme Manager in Legaspi and the Supply Chain Officer in Manila to align operations with national and organizational objectives.
• Oversee vendor and supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor service delivery.
• Ensure all activities adhere to IOM/UN internal procurement and financial rules.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement or a related field, or a university degree with at least two years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in managing procurement and logistics operations.
• Demonstrated ability to train, supervise, and lead teams.
• Fluency in Tagalog and English (both written and spoken).

Required skills

• Extensive knowledge of IOM/UN procurement and financial regulations.
• Strong computer literacy; familiarity with the WAVE system is an advantage.
