National Sales Manager

About the role

IQVIA, a global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence, is looking for a National Sales Manager in Manila. The role sells and provides services to customers using the organization's tools and techniques to support the healthcare industry, and drives revenue, profit targets and client satisfaction through education of physicians and hospital staff on product features and benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and dominate the territory through a work plan covering promotion, distribution and product sales to actual and potential customers.
• List and classify customers and maintain an updated customer database.
• Develop the work plan according to sales targets and identify and satisfy customer needs.
• Gather information on sales from the company and its competitors through ethical channels.
• Carry out sales work with doctors, health centers and hospitals according to project needs.
• Maintain constant and direct communication with Medical Representatives.
• Prepare work reports according to project guidelines.
• Educate physicians and hospital staff on product features and benefits versus competitors to increase prescriptions and use.
• Conduct sales interviews, keep technical knowledge of specialty and disease areas up to date, escalate issues and identify customer targets and physician profiles.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of prior relevant experience leading a team.
• Experience with cardiometabolic and/or insulin products and generics is highly desirable.
