Multi‑Skilled Technician

About the role

The Multi‑Skilled Technician provides technical support for a managed property, ensuring that all mechanical, electrical and sanitary systems operate efficiently and safely. The role involves routine inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordination with building management and third‑party vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and clean all common areas, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing and sanitary rooms.
• Perform preventive maintenance and hourly monitoring of equipment such as HVAC, generators, elevators, pumps, compressors and UPS.
• Log operational data, report abnormalities, and prepare written reports for the Building Engineer or Property Manager.
• Take electrical and water meter readings and assist with fit‑out monitoring for contractor compliance.
• Respond to job requests and emergencies, troubleshooting critical equipment.
• Maintain fire suppression and alarm systems, conduct hazard reporting, and follow emergency procedures.
• Maintain daily activity logs and coordinate maintenance schedules with building management.
• Ensure building temperature is set correctly and participate in fire and earthquake drills.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• At least 2 years in a property management company.
• Vocational diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in electro‑mechanical and civil works (carpentry, painting, masonry, plumbing, electrical).

Required skills

• Operation, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment.
• Pumps, motors, generator sets, compressors and UPS systems.
• Fire detection and alarm (FDAS) and fire suppression systems.
• Electrical and water meter reading.
• Basic troubleshooting of air‑conditioning, elevators and mechanical pumps.
• Vendor coordination and compliance monitoring.
